League of Legends : Xin Zhao Highly DPS Guide

Welcome to my ultra speed dps killer laning Xin Zhao. Ok, this is my guide on how to Xin Zhao, it's easy and well played char. This guide can be used for the freshie and for the pro. Xin Zhao is a tanky DPS style character similar to Olaf. He has great ganking abilities with his slow and knock-up from Three Talon Strike. Xin Zhao has an incredible laning presence and is very proficient in 1v1 battles and in team fights. This Xin Zhao guide aims to be a basic and simple introduction on basic strategy that should be adopted when playing Xin Zhao, it is recommended for people just starting to use Xin Zhao. But my playstyle is fully dps Xin Zhao. :) soft criticsm pls. Abilities:

• Tireless Warrior (Passive) Xin Zhao's passive essentially gives him free life-steal. It is great at keeping you alive early game but relies on tonnes of attack speed to be a factor late game. This effect also triggers on towers, allowing you to push towers while recovering health.
• Three Talon Strike The primary utility of this skill comes from the knock-up effect it provides, it also adds some decent damage, but it is spread over 3 attacks. The damage boost is negligible until late game when you have sufficient attack speed.
• Battle Cry Xin Zhao passively gains attack speed from this skill, which can also be activated to double the attack speed bonus, this allows xin zhao to eat through towers. However, its main use comes from its ability to reduce Xin Zhao's cooldowns by a whole second every attack, this is another Xin Zhao ability that gets better with attack speed.
• Audacious Charge An amazing ability that allows Xin Zhao to close the gap between him and his enemies while slowing them in the process. This is a very effective ganking ability and combined with Three Talon Strike can stop any champion.
• Crescent Sweep (Ultimate) Xin Zhao's ultimate makes him a great initiator when built tanky or a 2nd initiate behind the tank. Your goal with Xin Zhao's ultimate is to hit as many enemies as possible early in a team fight. The ultimate will also increase your armor and magic resistance allowing you to survive the fight.

Runes and Masteries and Spells: Marks=Armor Penetration Seals=Vitality/Dodge Glyphs=Magic Resistance per lvl Quientessence=Armor Penetration I used this runes because i've found it very supportive and interesting in early game fight and late game fight. I don't use mana regen because you can go back to the fountain to regen it back. For the masteries, I go 21/9/0 because I play it fully dps XZ! You can choose whatever you want for the masteries for personal preferences. For the spells, you can use Flash, Cleanse, Ignite, Exhaust, Ghost. You can choose based on your personal preferences, as for me, i use Ghost and Ignite. Flash is for running and chasing down the enemy. Ghost is for running and chasing down the enemy. Ignite is for lowering down their health and last kill enemy when you cannot reach it. Exhaust is for slowing them down, sometimes this is very useful when waiting for the cooldown of your abilities. Abilities Order: 1.TTS 2. AC 3. BC 4. TTS 5. TTS 6. ulti 7. BC 8. TTS 9. BC 10. BC 11. ulti 12. TTS 13. BC 14. AC 15. AC 16. ulti 17. AC 18. AC TTS=Three Talon Strike BC= Battle Cry AC=Audacious Strike ulti=Crescent Sweep I max the TTS 1st, because this is the source of your XZ ultimate dps! just put 1 point to the audacious charge for the jumping part, it's enough for the effect of slowing down your enemy, your damage should outrun them. Then put BC in sequence with TTS, like TTS,BC,TTS,BC. Cdr is very important when playing XZ. Before initiating a fight, you should activate the TTS 1st, then go AC to initiate+slowing them * remember, AC effects a small radius. After u jump, press BC for the attack speed and reducing your cooldowns, use another TTS, then your ULTI. They should be dead right now if your runes and item build are perfect for killing a carry. Don't too rush when killing people, save ur AC for their escape plan. My sequence skill: Q,E,W,Q,Q,R,E. use it repeatedly, Item Build : Doran's Blade>Red Pot>Brutalizer>Boots of Speed>Sword of Divine>Black Cleaver>Mercury's Thread>Yomumu's Ghostblade>BF sword>Blood Thirster(throw doran's)>Cloak Resistance>Banshee's Veil/Randuin's Omen. Doran's blade is very usefull in survivability (+100 health makes alot of differences) and the 3% lifesteal should enough, plus your passive ability (lifesteal every 3 attacks). You cannot miss the Sword of Divine and the Ghostblade for your attack speed and armor pen. I didn't take Last Whisperer because you can activate your sword of divine to get armor penetration. At early game, you don't need high damage to put down your enemy, just take the Black Cleaver and the stacks should be enough. Banshee's veil is for a little bit tanky XZ. Or you can take Infinity's Edge if your team has 2 tanker. But i recommend the Banshee's Veil. Mindset of Xin Zhao: You are Xin Zhao! Early game: Play laning, and get the most last hit creep. Don't be afraid, use Audacious Charge if you really afraid to get last hit creep. You need to take out your item as fast as you can than the others. Try harassing the enemy by using TTS and AC. Make sure they're afraid to get near you and try harassing them even at their own tower. Play it smart! You can have the Ace if you're playing it professionally and have a good teammates. So, every 5minutes or 3minutes you should check the map for ganking possibilities. Try just to defend your tower's and jungling while you can. Don't ever go too far from the map and your allies. XZ are useless if ya keep feeding him. Take the buff as soon as the golem n lizard appears. Now you should get your Doran's blade, Brutalizer, Boots of speed, Sword of Divine. Always check and kill the dragon!(worth of two hero kill, seriously!) Mid Game : Say welcome to the mid game when you get Sword of Divine. As for now, check for every possibilities of ganking opportunities. Always aim the enemy's carry. By pinning them down, they're hard to take out their item's fast. You should get the redd buff by now, and start hunting people. *Remember Killing=Farming. Try bring your stunner and hunt them, this should be enough to kill the enemy, always use your ultimate when they are two people or more. Because CDR for your ultimate is 60sec<. Use the Battle Cry for faster cooldowns. You should get the Black Cleaver, Merc Threads, Vampiric Scepter. Always check and kill the dragon!(worth of two hero kill, seriously!) Late Game: You should be focus on getting the Ghostblade because it is your core item or after the Black Cleaver, you should straight away to Ghostblade. When you're in teamfights, try sticking at the back of a tanker (this doesn't mean you're afraid), try aiming caster or the carry because you can own 1v1. You can also pawned the whole enemy's team if you are not being targetted. :) *Aim caster and carry 1st! . By now, complete your item and start sticking and ganking with your teammates. Putting wards by your teammates is compulsory, especially for the caster and tanker to buy em, 75$ can give u alot of advantage. For the baron, it's usefull when you are pushing or defending. For ganking, i think it's useless because the buff only last 7mins(i think? :o) Always check and kill the dragon!(worth of two hero kill, seriously!)
